This is so true that it even hurts me to admit it. I have found out over the past couple of weeks how much the truth can hurt.
However, I have also learned how much more important it is to tell the truth. The truth may hurt for a little while, but lies and untruthfulness seem to stick around much longer. They also sting harder and cause much more pain than the truth ever could.
I'm taking this moment to let everyone know that the truth could hurt now, but you shall be rewarded for it in the end.
That's the road I'm choosing to take, from here on out.
