What are you smiling at?

Well I have been a little MIA for the past month or so, but I am here to give you an update on a (supa) great weekend. I had gone into the week knowing that I would be working a lot during the beginning of the week which would then lead to a Sunday off.. But as the work went on I saw an opportunity to take off the Saturday and enjoy a nice break off of work. Also opening up was a Tuesday which my softball team, which was coming off of a dominating win from the previous week, had their bye week. So I had a decision ahead of me with my 4 days off. I asked all week what I should do, but in my mind there was really only one place and one person that I wanted to see with my weekend off. So by the guidance of a fortune cookie I trekked alone to the sacred place of Tiga land. It was a fun, but solo ride out there. (you see I really like road trips, a lot) So I finally get to Tiga land and am immediately captivated by the massive stadium that sits just across the mighty Mississippi river. I wind around Nicholson street a little over anxious and finally get to the complex and sneak into the gates. I whirl around the turns and second guess myself and end up having to spin around a little. But I finally get out and stretch out my legs and am invited inside the casa. I catch up with the lovely aforementioned Mike the Tiga ;).... The weekend was off to a great start already and it only looked better after hearing of the plans for the rest of my time off of work, which included chilling. As a matter of fact it was a bunch of chilling with watching some baseball games, every night. (talk about a bomb weekend for me, hopefully it wasn't too boring and dull for my partner for this fun-filled weekend) So we watch the college World Series on the first night, a wonderful South Carolina victory over Clemson to put them into the championship game on Monday against the mighty UCLA Bruins. (GO SEC!) We missed out on the fashion show, but only because we didn't want to show up and put shame upon all of the models trying to fashion their wardrobe, because we totally rock. So then the weekend rolls along with a Dodgers vs. Yankees game on Sunday that turned from a pretty poorly fielded game to an exciting one with a Robinson Cano home run for my fantasy team!!! [which was totally called by Mike the Tiga ;)] I stick around for another day on Manday ;) by the gracious of the hostess and we get to watch an amazing South Carolina victory over UCLA, which we both jokingly said would happen but didn't truly believe it. Tuesday rolled up too quickly and I had to trek back home, I didn't want to leave and wished I could have stayed for at least one more night so that we could celebrate in the South Carolina victory that we both never thought would happen. (GO SEC!) But I cant go back and change anything about the trip and looking back I don't think I would want to. I had so much fun and want to express my gratitude again for allowing me to stay during my time off work. I also want to say that I am extremely excited for July 4, 2010 since I am having my Six Flags bubble bursted, and also want to say that I will never be able to watch a baseball game the same way. [hopefully I get to watch many more with her. :)] And that what was left behind was by far the best thing that I have ever left somewhere. Thanks again. :) :) :)

Also you may be asking why this post is titled, "What are you smiling at?" And the answer is I don't know, but to the person who asked the question I hope that you stick around with me and we can find out someday. :)

Wing Man OUT!!!
